While students were on holiday, there was a lot happening behind the scenes at school.

Our teachers and staff came together for two days of training on March 30th and 31st. The focus was on making sure our school remains a safe and supportive place for every child. The team received training in First Aid, fire safety, and data protection, helping them feel confident and prepared in different situations.

At the same time, our facilities team was hard at work across both the Karen and Lavington campuses. They carried out important repairs and improvements to make the school environment even better for our students.

Some of the work included improving security by repairing sections of the perimeter fencing at the Karen Campus, refreshing classrooms with deep carpet cleaning, and fixing furniture and other areas through carpentry and masonry work.

All of this is part of our ongoing effort to care for both our community and our spaces. We want every child to return to a school that feels safe, well cared for, and ready for learning.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the new term.
