On 13th March, both campuses took to the water for the annual Swimming Gala and it was a day to remember.

Lavington Campus held their gala at the Methodist Resort Center while Karen Campus made their way to the KCB Leadership Center. Students from Class 1 to 6 at Karen and Class 1 to 5 at Lavington took turns in the pool showing off what they have been working on, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly strokes all on full display. The competition was friendly but the determination was very real.

The crowds were loud, the cheering was non stop and the energy in the air was the kind you simply cannot manufacture. Parents on the sidelines made sure every single swimmer felt it.

But then at Lavington, the parents decided they were not just there to watch. They got in the pool themselves and raced against one another and honestly, that might have been the highlight of the day. The excitement went up a whole other level and it was absolutely brilliant to witness.

It was a great day for both campuses. If you missed it, make sure you are there next time.
